Rules & Policies
In order to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all at Rivers Bend Campground, it is imperative that all campers and guests follow the campground rules for safety and etiquette. Campers and guests who are unable to follow these rules risk the safety and serenity of this facility and its guests and will be asked to leave.
Campground Rules
All our policies have developed from our majority customer base and are intended to make Rivers Bend a family-safe environment.
*Electric Vehicles: Rivers Bend for both Insurance and electric grid capacities cannot have electric cars inside the park where an unauthorized plug-in can happen. Please understand this limitation before arriving at our facility. We can park your car out in the visitor parking lot.
*Check-in begins at 1:00 pm Daily.
- Check-out is by 11:00 am and outbound traffic has right of way until 1:00 pm after 11:00 we do park clean up the ready sites as needed for 1:00 pm check-in.
* The speed limit in the campground is 10 mph!
* Visitor check-in hours are 10:00 am - 7:00 pm No Visitors before 10:00 am or After 7 pm may enter. Please help us help your guests with arrival times. visitors must exit the campground no later than 10 pm or be charged for an additional day.
*Two vehicles per Site maximum must have a camp parking pass visible.
* Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 9 am, no exception!
*Pets Must Be On Leash at All Times and Picked up After, guests will be asked to leave if this is violated
* Maximum of 6 people per Site for overnights, must be part of the original reservation or paid as a Guest
* No FireWorks or Firearms
* No Littering/No Smoking
*Always be Courteous and Respectful of Other Campers, Staff, and Owners
*No Trespassing on Others Sites for Nefarious Reasons
visitor policy
Guests visiting camping patrons are welcome at Rivers Bend Campground between the hours of 10 am and 10 pm. No visitors will be allowed into the campground after 7:00 pm. or before 10:00 am. Please make sure your guests are aware to prevent any avoidable problems.
All visitors must register at the office and pay the applicable $6 per person fee unless prepaid by the camper they are visiting.
Visitors will park in the visitor parking area unless prior arrangements have been made.
*** The pool is only for campground guests, no one can get a day pass to use the pool or beach unless they are visiting a registered camper at a site. ***
Pet Policy
Dogs are allowed with no more than two to a site, leashed, and always attended to, droppings disposed of immediately. Current proof of rabies vaccination is required at check-in. Campers with dogs that bark a lot and are complained about by others will be asked to leave.
Visitors’ pets are required to comply with the same conditions with a site total of two dogs per site. If your quest is bringing a pet, please make them aware of these policies prior to prevent any issues.
Cancellation Policy
No refunds will be given, however, you will receive camp credit in the full amount of your payment minus a $25.00 rebooking fee when canceled within 48 hours of the check-in time by (1:00 pm). Please book responsibly!
Rivers Bend if Needed Will Ask You To Leave and will not offer a Refund or campground credit if you have Violated these Policies. Per Vermont TITLE 9: COMMERCE AND TRADE CHAPTER 138: CAMPGROUNDS
Site Designation
Rivers Bend Campground management reserves the right to make changes to your site assignment based on the needs of the park.
